Can you print PDF as raster and not vector??

Hi All,

Just signed up to the forum, looks good!

I'm wondering if anyone can help me, I have created a design in Illustrator measuring nearly 1370mm x 700mm ready to run through my eco-sol printer through flexisign. I have been printing as PDF and then trying to open it in Flexi - but it crashes.

I think it might be down to the complex patterns I have used, but not 100% on this. What I wanted to try was saving a rasterised PDF, at say 720dpi, and trying to open that. I have found a few .jpg converters but none that will convert to more than 300dpi, which ruins my print quality!!

Does anyone know how to save as raster? The export tool in Illustrator won't save as jpg because of the size of the artwork.

Any help would be very much appreciated!!

Many thanks,

Rich roll

Open the PDF in Photoshop or photoshop elements. From there you can save to whatever you require.
